My best 2010 anime ranking

This year is about to finish and I'm going to try to do a ranking with the best ten anime of this year that I saw. Is difficult to choice the order of some of the anime, because all have some good and some bad things, but well, this is my choice.

3. Angel Beats!
I had lots of hopes in this anime. I love all that Jun Maeda does. The beginning was a bit poor but the quality was raising. As I expected have some touching and crying moments. And the end is a bittersweet end as I expected, too. A good anime of the kind of anime that I like.

2. K-ON!!
Kyoani did a very great job with the second season of K-ON!. This time, Mugi is more awesome. Ritsu isn't a unuseful character, I didn't like Ritsu in the first season but in this I liked. Yui is Yui. Ui is the perfect waifu. And the other characters are as good as in the first season. All the season was very good but for me the best episode was the last concert in the school festival, very touching. I liked it a lot.

1. Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu
The best Haruhi novel adapted to anime. Kyoani had to do very bad to do a bad movie. But that isn't the case and did a great and awesome work of art. A very good adaption of the novel. The only detail that I didn't like is that they abused a bit of the 3D. But the rest is great. I love it.

Special mention: Toaru Kagaku no Railgun
I didn't know if include this anime in the ranking, because it started in 2009 but finished in 2010. Railgun is a very special anime for me for some reasons. If it was in, would be in the second place.

Well, only about two hours for the next year so...

Memories of Japan - 2010-08-07 - 2. There's no way Japan can be this hot!

After an uncountable number of hours flying in a plane, we arrived to Narita airport. Finally were in Japan! A new day just started and we were exhausted, couldn't sleep too much at plane. After the controls and pick up our baggage, we went to exchange some euros for yens. Later go to take the train that took us to the Ueno Station. And now finally in Tokyo!

We came out of the station and... What's this heat!? We just discovered hot Japanese climate at summer. With lots of hours without sleep and with an insane heat, we went to our first hotel in Tokyo. It was situated at North of Asakusa. We arrived, left our suitcases and went to have lunch.

Our first lunch in Japan was in a small restaurant that almost all that they only had was yakisoba and takoyaki. Well, actually they also had some other "yaki" things. All was delicious, our first meal in Japan!

After lunch, we took a walk for the surrounding area near the hotel. Were waiting that was time to do the check in. We visited some shrines in that walk, knowing nothing about them.

When was time, came back to the hotel. And when went to our rooms, discovered some problems in them. In one, the shower didn't work, and the other had leaking water on the ceiling! Well, we went to claim and they offered move us to another hotel, but from the next day. We accepted it and came back to our rooms to take a shower.

Mapo Tofu!

Later, we went out again. This time took a walk through Asakusa. Looked for a place to have dinner. And that dinner was special, because was the first time that I tasted Mapo Tofu! Yes, when I saw it, couldn't choose another plate. So I enjoyed a lot my spicy Mapo Tofu.

After dinner came back to the hotel. And finally, after lots of hours, was time to go to sleep.

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya DVD/BD release

Yes, today was the great day. The day of the Haruhi's movie DVD/BD release. This movie is based in the 4th novel, for me the best of Haruhi novels until now. And this date wasn't chosen randomly, was chosen because is an important date in the novel/movie. But I'm not going say more about it, watch the movie or read the novel :P

Like with the Nanoha movie, but this time without a huge pile of boxes that disappeared magically, some of the stores of Akihabara planned an small special event, with some people cosplayed of characters of the movie and special presents for purchase the movie. Thanks to akibablog, we can enjoy some images.

Today I also received an email from amiami saying that my movie was shipped. I thought that they won't send it until Monday, but I was wrong. I bought the special edition DVD version. Hope that arrive soon!

Triangle Heart ~Sweet songs forever~

The only reason because I started to watch this OVAs is that was related with Nanoha. Triangle Heart ~Sweet songs forever~ are 4 OVAs based in an eroge. Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha used one of characters, Takamachi Nanoha, as its main character. And I think that is for this reason that lots of people saw them.

In them is explained an story about how Nanoha's siblings protect one childhood friend. She has received some threats, but don't want to cancel a concert tour around the world. She also have an official bodyguard, that is also a Nanoha's siblings chilhood friend, that doesn't get along very much with them.

The most interesting of this OVAs is watch Nanoha's siblings fighting in a battle. But for the rest, I think that have nothing more interesting. If this anime hasn't been related with Nanoha, I wouldn't have watch it. By the way, Nanoha also appears a bit.

Winter 2011 anime season

December is about to finish and this means that a new anime season is about to start. It's time to choose some animes of this new season that will be which will watch. Well, maybe when the season starts I drop any or I add any to my watch list if my twitter speaks well about it. For now my watch list is this.

Hourou Musuko (Wandering son)
An anime about a tomboy and a feminine boy. This combination and the drawing style seems that will give us a good and sweet story. I'll watch it.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
Usually I don't like too much Mahou Shoujo animes, but there are some exceptions like CardCaptor Sakura and Nanoha. This anime also have a great staff, so I'll watch it.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? (Is this a zombie?)
Once you watch the preview, this seems a mix between magical girls, zombies and a bit of blood. Seems fun so I'll watch it.

Mitsudomoe Zouryouchuu
Second season of this problematic lolis trio. I liked a lot the first season, so I'll watch this second season for sure.

Onii-chan no Koto nanka Zenzen Suki Janain Dakara ne!! (I don't like you at all, Big brother!!)
A new imouto related anime. But this with more siscon and a bit more ecchi. Seems fun so I'll watch it too.

Memories of Japan - 2010-08-05/06 - 1. Flight to Japan!

Some of you know that last summer I was in Japan during 3 weeks. Me and my co-travelers thought about write a blog about our travel. In the end, we only wrote a few days. Some days ago, when I was watching pictures of this travel, I thought that would be a good idea write some of my memories of the travel in my new blog. For this reason today I start this new section, memories of Japan.

In this entry I'll write about two days, the day before the flight and the day of the flight, 5th and 6th August.

5th August. Is the last day before to travel to Japan and I haven't pack my things yet! Until the evening I didn't start. Well, my intention was that the case went nearly empty and came back full of things. So I put some clothes and things that I needed and in not much time I was ready.

Later, Pau came to take me to his house. We had to be in airport very early in the morning, so we spent all night playing Wii with the rest of the group, Laia and Gemma. And wasn't too much time.

After some hours, we went to the airport. There we had breakfast and passed the controls before took the first flight. This flight, where we had breakfast another time, brought us to Frankfurt.

In the Frankfurt airport we wait some more hours for the flight that definitely brought us to the Narita airport. The plane of the flight was the great A380. I think that is the bigest plane in the world.

During this second flight, I tried to sleep a bit, but I couldn't. Maybe was that was a bit nervous. And always when I could start to sleep, they brought us something to eat. We had dinner and breakfast in this flight, before arrive to Narita.

Nagato nendoroid 3D pictures

These days I was playing a little trying to do an idea that I had. Make a 3D picture. Thinking on it a bit, doesn't seem very difficult. The 3D effect is caused because the every eye see an image a little different. Usually, a 3D picture is taken with 2 cameras at the same time, one near the other. But in a static scene actually is only needed one camera, taking first a picture, moving it a little and taking the other picture.

So I decided to try it. And who better to be the model than Nagato? Well, maybe if would exist a Kuroko nendoroid...

I took the 2 pictures, and now the problem is... how watch this in 3D? I know two techniques which are feasible to do it.

The first was the cross-eyed. Here you have to try to look the right image with your left eye and the left image with your right eye, crossing your eyes. Is a bit difficult at first but practicing a little you can do it. This is the picture to look using this technique:

And the other way is using a red/blue glasses. This is the picture to use with this way:

Obviously, you need a red/blue glasses to see it in 3D. To construct the picture I used a tutorial that I found in youtube.

I didn't hope that the result would be this good, so I'm very happy with this test. I hope take more 3D pictures soon.

A new blog

Since some months ago, I was thinking to start to write a new blog. My last blog, el blog del redox wasn't updated in the last months and I thought to give a change as a blogger. Thanks to twitter I have been practicing my English and now isn't that bad as before. Isn't good either. But now I think that can write a blog in English with a bit of sense. So this is the big change with my last blog.

A brigade diary. Why I chose this name? Well, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu is my favourite anime. Nothing more to say. This blog will be something like a diary and, with that name, also have a relation with this anime. And because I like it, too.
