This week loot 4

Last weekend I wasn't here, I was in Paris, so I couldn't write a post about the loot of last week. That consist in the new Haruhi novel, wrote in two volumes, and the second ending of K-On!! single, "No, Thank you!".

It's a shame that I can't read it. I read the preview that is the only part that is translated just now and is good. Hope that will be translated soon.

This week loot 3

This week I either expect something special for arrive, but I finished with a very good loot. And, futhermore, a Haruhi special loot.

This week Haruhi special loot contains two novels, well, is the same novel, the Rampage of Haruhi Suzumiya, but in soft-cover and hard-cover version, and three manga, volume 11 and 12 of Haruhi manga in Spanish and volume 2 of Haruhi-chan in English.

For the next week, I'm waiting for something very special, and also Haruhi related. Can you guess what I'm talking about? :P

The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya DVD/BD release

Yes, today was the great day. The day of the Haruhi's movie DVD/BD release. This movie is based in the 4th novel, for me the best of Haruhi novels until now. And this date wasn't chosen randomly, was chosen because is an important date in the novel/movie. But I'm not going say more about it, watch the movie or read the novel :P

Like with the Nanoha movie, but this time without a huge pile of boxes that disappeared magically, some of the stores of Akihabara planned an small special event, with some people cosplayed of characters of the movie and special presents for purchase the movie. Thanks to akibablog, we can enjoy some images.

Today I also received an email from amiami saying that my movie was shipped. I thought that they won't send it until Monday, but I was wrong. I bought the special edition DVD version. Hope that arrive soon!

Nagato nendoroid 3D pictures

These days I was playing a little trying to do an idea that I had. Make a 3D picture. Thinking on it a bit, doesn't seem very difficult. The 3D effect is caused because the every eye see an image a little different. Usually, a 3D picture is taken with 2 cameras at the same time, one near the other. But in a static scene actually is only needed one camera, taking first a picture, moving it a little and taking the other picture.

So I decided to try it. And who better to be the model than Nagato? Well, maybe if would exist a Kuroko nendoroid...

I took the 2 pictures, and now the problem is... how watch this in 3D? I know two techniques which are feasible to do it.

The first was the cross-eyed. Here you have to try to look the right image with your left eye and the left image with your right eye, crossing your eyes. Is a bit difficult at first but practicing a little you can do it. This is the picture to look using this technique:

And the other way is using a red/blue glasses. This is the picture to use with this way:

Obviously, you need a red/blue glasses to see it in 3D. To construct the picture I used a tutorial that I found in youtube.

I didn't hope that the result would be this good, so I'm very happy with this test. I hope take more 3D pictures soon.
